Granblue fantasy relink demo9/12/2023 ![]() ![]() No date was given but it was stressed very hard that the game is basically complete with only polish remaining. FKHR says the game is close to completion. ![]() Characters can't be changed in battle, but you can change loadouts. Ferry was shown as a playable character who specializes in support and crowd control. The Captain (Gran/Djeeta), Katalina, Rackam, Io, Eugen, and Rosetta. Six playable characters at the start of the game. Some are described as being quick to clear while others are sprawling with plenty to explore. Game flow is Town (accepting quests and purchasing/upgrading gear) -> Airship (travel and training mode) -> Stage (exploration and combat) Yasuyuki Kaji says he has gained 2 kilos from American food despite his goal to lose 10 kg. The game will be complete out of the box, but there will be some added endgame content. Features a new storyline so anyone can jump in, but is still related to the original game (closest example I can personally think of is Battle Chasers Nightwar). Focus on high speed battles, customization, and team work. At PlatinumGames he worked as a lead level designer and contributed to tiles such as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Bayonetta 2 and NieR Automata. ![]() In his role he mostly focuses on the action aspects of the game. He has served as director from the game's inception. When Relink's development was transferred to Cygames, Yasuyuki Kaji joined the company and has continued to work as director. The director, Yasuyuki Kaji, used to work at Platinum Games and was the director of Relink back when the project was being made there. He works to ensure that the story, graphics and world feel faithful to the original game. The general director, Tetsuya Fukuhara (know as FKHR in the community), has served as the creative director of the original Granblue Fantasy for nine years and has worked on both Relink and the fighting game Granblue Fantasy Versus. In addition to being playable, details about the game were shared by Granblue Fantasy general director Tetsuya Fukuhara and Granblue Fantasy: Relink Director Yasuyuki Kaji. There’s nothing about whether the game will be a timed exclusive and will be available on PC like how Versus is, but the game is still a while away to its release, so we’ll have to just stay tuned.Granblue Fantasy Relink is at this year's Anime Expo. More information regarding Relink‘s graphics will be revealed in the 14 December issue of Cygames Magazine. The full gameplay demo will be uploaded with English subtitles which at this point of writing, is still unavailable. The gameplay demo also features a boss fight over three phases. There will be various things you can interact in the environment, like how Djeeta uses a mounted gun, throwable items and the like. The weapons you equip appear to be reflected in the overworld model, like how the skins work in GBVS. You’ll be able to change between Gran and Djeeta at any point. There’s a training mode, as well as showing off how the skills and/or area of effects where applicable would work, including targetting. Some new gameplay was shown off, featuring Djeeta and her posse of Katalina, Rosetta and Io. Focus on a framework for development organization over speed.Have Osaka Cygames be on a workflow plan, with development tools.Release new information by the end of the year in order to reassure fans the project is still being worked on.With Platinum Games no longer on board, the development cycle has moved to: Djeeta has a colour palette of Blue in GBVS, and her outfit will be repurposed for Gran and Djeeta who will be donning it at some point in the story.
